Addon Music (DirectSong)
I downloaded the Sorrow's Furnace addon, but I can't get to the area to test it out.
Does this music, and say I bought the updated music pack, play through the Guild Wars client or does it load up WMP when I go into the section the music plays in? |

From my reading of everything, the downloaded file is just an installer. You set a location for the music (WMA files) and they have to stay there unless you go in and start messing around with modifying the system. Essentially, pick a good location the first time.

To clarify...
If I walk into Sorrow's Furnace.. does WMP load up or does the addon music play internally from the game? |

It should load automatically ingame. You can hear it from the Deldrimor War Camp and Grenth's Foothprint. All the new areas I think linked with SF.
I downloaded it and installed it onto my desktop. If you then check your options in one of the new areas it should say if it's playing additional music by a little icon in the corner. Oh and when you install it, open the song files and when it loads onto your player (try WMP), it should acquire the lisence and then it will work. I think thats what I did to get it working. Hope this helps, ~Thomas |
